PIPE INSULATION

Pipe insulation/ lagging is fitted around water pipes to prevent them from getting damaged and bursting by keeping the heat in the pipes, especially when its cold and temperatures drop to freezing. It is commonly used throughout the UK to insulate central heating pipework and as a pipe insulation in loft spaces to prevent freezing.
